Del Mar Bangle | 14 GF

D E T A I L S

The Del Mar bangle was inspired from our time in San Diego where I made the very first one. It's hand forged from 14K gold filled metal and finished with a shiny, hammered finish. A tiny logo tag is included. They are sold individually but they look great stacked. The first photo shows two Del Mar bangles with Ocean Eyes and Puka 3mm stretch bracelets.

S I Z I N G

Bangles are sized differently from other bracelets because they need to be large enough to go over your hand. Measure all the way around the widest part of your hand (at the knuckles). When measuring, bring your thumb over to your pinky as if you were putting on the bangle.

If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a string and then measure it against a ruler. If in doubt, size up. The size measurement listed is the circumference. You want to choose a size a little bigger than the measurement that you get, in order to get it off and on comfortably - but not so large that it falls off of your hand.

C A R E

Although gold filled is durable and water-safe, it's still best to avoid harsh chemicals. You can clean gold filled with dish soap and water. For a quick shine, use a soft polishing cloth. Wear with care and store separately from other jewelry to avoid scratches.

You can also occasionally use a polishing pad to remove light scratches. Too much abrasive polishing can remove gold and expose the underlying layer of brass. For more information about gold filled, check our CARE page.
